Upstate Farms operates year-round, offering our clients a wide range of products. We work with multiple small farms in upstate New York to distribute the very best locally produced food.
We emphasize seasonality. In spring, summer, and fall we have a vast array of fresh, local vegetables and fruits. Additionally, we can supply locally made cheeses and dairy products like butter, milk, creme fraiche, and yogurt. Year-round, we offer things like mesclun greens, baby lettuces, micro greens, pea shoots, herbs, eggs, honey, apples, and sunchokes. In wintertime, when local production is more limited, we work with small farms down south to continue to provide a diversity of fresh produce to our restaurant customers.
We also offer freshly foraged items, like ramps from our own forest, fiddlehead ferns, mushrooms, and nettles. When available, we have local fresh poussin, turkey, pork, and occasionally other meats - ask us!
